Just checkin' in real quick before goin to parents for father's day..

Sara, when doing E-bay the best thing you can do.. if you find a charm you like on the topish right side click on the seller's feedback..check their track record. If they have too little feedback, or negative feedback (lots.. not 1 or 2 over 5 years for example is just stuff happens). That's the key to finding good items on e-bay. You can get ripped off by people who have 5 feedback, or lots of negative feedback, etc.. But some people have full shops that are legit on e-bay.. recognized by 1000's of feedback and 99.+% Positive :)

(I'm an e-bay addict!)

It seems all of my restriction is gone too!!! :help:

I'm able to eat what I want, when I want....and because I try to behave, I'm ALWAYS hungry!!!

Weekends seem to be the hardest for me because I'm with the family and they're forever wanting to go out to eat Breakfast, lunch and dinner. I try to order things that seem healthier, but then I gain weight still. I'm fluctuating between 233-234....My next fill is scheduled for July 16th, but I think that I'm going to try to get in sooner...he told me that at 3 weeks if I'm still hungry, to call in and get in sooner... :faint:

Speaking of which, gotta run! The kids are taking the hubby out to breakfast for Fathers Day! :hungry:

Good Morning Violets~

Happy Father's Day! To all the moms out there...you know you deserve a Father's Day shout out too!

Went to the gym again...love it! But the scale still says the same, going between 260-257. The same since I started. I am trying not to get discouraged.

What was Tracy talking about moving us to a monthly thing? If someone moves the violets...please let us all know. I am like her, can't live w/o the violets.

Have a great day everyone!

I just found a pm asking me about it. Only went to a few in the group I guess. I have not had 5 mins to do anything with it but I guess a decision was made.

Let me see if I can find out more details and I'll post.

Me.... well 0 fills ... I just ate 2 chicken tenders and 1 cup of lettuce. I guess that is not a horrible amount but to me it seems like a ton.

today was a bad eating day, can't wait to get back to the gym tomorrow

Pamela

don't be sad. I guess they picked 3-4 random people from each HUGE group to see if it is something people would be interested in.

I don't see how it is going to be any different. Go to the main page and there is a Sub thread called monthly... and then each month is in there. I am confused - but that doesn't take much these days

Hi Violets!

I know it is frustrating not losing the lbs - or should I say losing s..l..o..w..l..y.

I had my first fill 5-31 and I have lost 8 lbs since then - so I am right on track for 2 lbs a week. (Which is my doctors goal for me - I think that is slow, I like the 1 lb a day loss -- hahahaha)

My doctor won't do a 2nd fill until after 6 weeks from the first - so I am scheduled for July 12th. I am unsure if I keep losing as I am - if he will do it then.

When I eat solids - I don't lose - and gain a few so --- I have been doing the 42gr Protein bullets for breakfast - eating a salad and very small piece of meat. for lunch or dinner, and another protein bullet for the 3rd meal.

It really is so much harder than everyone knows (family and friends) - I think they see the commercial "that it controls your hunger" and think it is no big deal.

I don't know if it is head hunger or just deprevariation -- it takes so much willpower to do it to see just 2 lbs move in a week.

Have a great night! Keep up the great work violets!

Gina

Hi all you Shrink'n Violets...

Got back from our trip late last night and then church today and then out to lunch for Father's Day ( I had two egg rolls and a couple of chicken wings) and then home and out to dinner with friends. (few bites of a spinach salad, broiled walleye, half a sweet potato and then fresh berries and cool whip for dessert. DH and I split the meal so it was just the right amount). I only lost a pound at weigh in today, but I lost 3# total this week cause I weighed in on Thursday before we left for our church conference and had a 2# loss. So I'm right on track, but sure don't feel much restriction. I just have to tell myself to stop when I want to eat more than I'm supposed to.

I have lots of posts to catch up on and will do that later. I did receive a PM about moving the thread to the monthly one. I don't understand what that's about. Anybody else know??

I'm going to go love up my Yorkies that have been missing us since Thursday. Will catch up with everyone tomorrow.

Have a great evening and remember to follow those bandster rules!!!:cheer2:

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
