love salad without dressing, anyone like me?

I also don’t eat salad dressing! I feel like the toppings I add are usually wet enough and I don’t like many Salad Dressing flavors/consistencies.

p.s. am now waiting impatiently for june 13, when the remaining episodes of Bridgerton are released!!! i love me a period show

I’m excited for this season as the love story is one we don’t often see: portly, plump, endowed women being romantically courted.
How was it? Netflix has spoiled me, I can’t watch single episodes or partial seasons of shows. I need to binge watch or I lose interest. I love love love period shows, almost any period except the 1970-80’s (idk why).

i also prefer to binge as well, but plots often get spoiled for me by reading the news or social media or listening to friends (and strangers!) talk, dammit! so i try to watch before that happens. omg don't even get my started how my entire 2016 was ruined when i accidentally read a headline about that particular episode of game of thrones season 6. im still salty about it.

i dont want to spoil it for u (or others reading this) so all im gonna say is if ur a fan, they u'll likely remain one, ha! and yeah, a different shaped heroine is definitely refreshing!

as for 70s-80s period shows/series, you gotta give Glow a try! even if just for the soundtrack lol.

Half a cup of lupin Beans, 1/4 cup of sweet potato, 1/5 of an avocado, 1 slice of cucumber, 1oz of Tomato. I will take a break and finish the leftovers as a snack later.

woke up at the crack of dawn this morning to get to a 6am hot yoga class...got home FAMISHED and fixed myself ½ a bagel and leftover asparagus (ate it all) around 8am.

then got hungry again just now (12:30pm) and made this avocado-and-everything-bagel-seasoning-and sumac open faced sandwich with the other ½ of the bagel from this morning. ate it all!! soooo good 😊

ASIDE: tried on a pair of shorts i used to wear last year when i was 4 lbs LIGHTER than i am now, and they are ridiculously too big on my waist. Lesson: the number on the scale means much less than your measurements. and the number of calories you consume and its effects cannot be translated across everyone. i can easily consume 2500+ calories a day because i exercise like a fiend.. so when ur nutritionist or some well meaning BP member tells you how many calories you should be consuming (or advise on a general macro breakdown) remember that the "sweet spot" is highly individualized and varies HUMUNGOUSLY from person to person. find YOUR own sweet spot and work it from there, cuz no one knows your body better than you.

sorry...im feeling very "you-go-girl!" at the moment and feel like i need to inspire lol. working out does that to me lolololzzzzz. 😂😂😂

Breakfast sandwich (eggs and vegan sausage). I only ate 75% of it, then began to feel nauseous. Idk if it was the eggs (can’t always handle them) or the high fat macros , hormones or what but I won’t repeat this meal anytime soon.

Dinner:

Soy glazed chicken, spicy Asian cucumber salad, and garlic green Beans. Ate all the chicken, had 2 cucumbers and didn’t touch the green beans. It was really good though.

Soup making weather here in Australia. Bbrrr! My old faithful chicken & vegetable. Added a soup mix of barley, green & red lentils & green & yellow dried peas to bulk up the soup & the Protein. Had a bowl last night, froze 5 serves & this Pasta bowl is dinner for probably another 3 or 4 nights.

Life has been nuts the past couple months but I do periodically stalk the pages to get ideas. This was last night’s dinner- espresso bbq roasted chicken thighs, coleslaw, broccoli watermelon, and loaded mashed potatoes. (Chicken thighs marinated in buttermilk, KC bbq rub and espresso rub then topped with more of each and baked at 450F for 35ish minutes)-

I’m not currently counting calories as I’m doing cardiac rehab 3 days a week and have lost 25lbs since I’ve had heart surgery that I had gained beforehand (stupid fatigue).

Also, went to the museum with my youngest on a field trip today and we grabbed ice cream to share. This is the after from both of us eating it.

Factors Affecting the Growth of the Alternative Sweeteners Industry:
Health Consciousness: The increasing awareness among individuals about the health issues linked to high sugar consumption, such as obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases, is supporting the market growth. Consumers are becoming more health-conscious and seeking products that can provide sweetness without the negative health effects associated with sugar. This shift in consumer preferences is leading to a greater demand for low-calorie and natural sweeteners like stevia, monk fruit, and erythritol. These sweeteners offer the added benefit of having minimal impact on blood glucose levels, making them suitable for diabetic and health-conscious individuals.
Technological Advancements: Innovations in the production and formulation of alternative sweeteners are impelling the market growth. Advancements in biotechnology and food science are leading to the development of high-intensity sweeteners with improved taste profiles and functional properties. Innovations in fermentation processes enhance the production efficiency and quality of natural sweeteners like stevia and monk fruit. These technological improvements are making alternative sweeteners more appealing to both manufacturers and consumers. Enhanced stability, solubility, and sweetness intensity allow these sweeteners to be used in a wide range of products, ranging from beverages to baked goods.
Consumer Trends and Preferences: Evolving consumer trends and preferences are playing a significant role in driving the alternative sweeteners market. The growing demand for clean-label products, which are healthier and free from artificial ingredients, is offering a favorable market outlook. Consumers are increasingly seeking natural and plant-based sweeteners, aligning with broader trends toward plant-based diets and veganism. Besides this, there is an increase in the demand for low-calorie and sugar-free alternatives that support weight management and overall wellness. Food and beverage companies are responding to these trends by innovating and expanding their product lines to include options sweetened with alternative sweeteners, thereby catering to changing tastes and health concerns of modern consumers.

Various regulatory bodies are approving alternative sweeteners for use, ensuring their safety and efficacy. These approvals provide food and beverage manufacturers with the confidence to incorporate alternative sweeteners into their products.
