Halloween Weight loss Challenge

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

It is 7 weeks until Halloween and I wanted to start a Halloween Weight loss Challenge. We could way in every Thursday until the 10/31.

9/12 - starting weight 172lbs

10/31 goal weight 165lbs

Please join me and Good Luck!

Count me in. I'm in the process right now of moving to a different state so it's stressing me out and I'm eating much crap. I only have 26 lbs to goal and I'm hoping to be there by 2014 - New Years Day.

CW: 156

Halloween hopeful: 146

I would like to join too.

Current weight: 196

Goal weight: 185

That would put me in the "overweight" category rather than the "obese" category!

I'm in as well. My SW is 253.0 and my Halloween goal is 241.0.

Also' date=' if you are interested, I'd be happy to track the progress from week to week and post it online so everyone can see. I'll add graphs at week 3 or week 4 as well. Here's the link for the online spreadsheet: http://sdrv.ms/19Qmc3j. (I'll change to the longer link if this short one doesn't work.)

Thanks Bea! That is SO nice of you!!!

This is fantastic. Do you just check the ticker? How does this work?

I expect that just as everyone is posting their start weights now they will post an updated weight every Thursday until Halloween as well. It's relatively simple for me to take these weights and enter them into the spreadsheet (which updates the online version automatically). As I enter new data, I simply "LIKE" each of the posts I've already entered, a technique which helps me make sure we don't miss anyone. The spreadsheet will do all the real work tracking progress, calculating % success (SW-CW/SW-GOAL), and tracking lbs lost. This should be a fun way for us to see what big changes we are making both individually and as a group!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
