I am so excited and can't wait until I get sleeved on October 5th 2013.

Ready to start Optifast shakes in 2 weeks for pre op diet .

Highest weight. Starting weight 232. BMI 40

Current weight 213

Goal weight 115-125 ish

48 yrs old.

October 7 in Mexico.

Oct 7 in California. Maybe we should create an October "club". Had all my pre-op tests and visits done in 3 weeks. Waited another 3 weeks for my 6 week follow up on Aug 29. My doctors office will be submitting all my paperwork to my ins co this week.

I can't wait! I'm calling it Me Day! I was a little nervous until about 6 weeks ago when my 8 year old & I were talking about it & I explained what type of surgery I'm having (my mom had it about 2 1/2 years ago so he's familiar). He's is extremely excited because I will finally be able to get in the floor & play cars with him & play outside with him! That day, that conversation, confirmed my decision & I haven't been nervous since. I know I'm making the right choice, not only for me, but for my family as well.

My date is October 1 in Tupelo, MS. I go Wednesday for my all day education seminar. I am very excited but a little anxious about the unknown.
