  2. I have bipolar and anxiety. I took my meds like normal from day 2 or 3 after my surgery. No crushing or anything per dr's orders. I did find some of my meds didn't absorb as well so some of my doses needed adjusted up.
  3. I had the same problem. You just have to try your best to force the fluids. Try a bunch of different things until you find what tastes good to you. I was hospitalized twice for dehydration, not real fun. I would call your doc and let them know what's going on. I'm 4 weeks out and just now getting in the recommended 64 oz a day.
  4. Me too! No candy for the first time ever! Great NSV. Proud of all of us

  6. I am 4 weeks post op and didn't touch any candy. Not on my plan right now and feared the worst if I even touched it-don't want to hurt my new sleevie. But it was hard! I didn't realize how much I really snacked until the sleeve forced me to quit.
  7. I'm having trouble too. Water mixed with anything makes me feel sick but so does plain water. It stinks! I'm going to try getting some mio drops to see if that helps at all. Open to suggestions! I make a plan in the morning of what I'm going to drink and when. It helps me stay on track. Hope this helps!

  9. You look awesome! Great job!
  10. I'm a little over 3 weeks post op and I'm really struggling getting all my liquids in. I just feel like I'm drinking literally all day with my only breaks being my 30/30 before and after meals. I feel like I'm floating in liquids and always a little nauseated, sometimes a lot nauseated. I was getting in 48 oz a day and I still ended up in the hospital with dehydration (for the 2nd time). I've been trying for 64 oz since then but really struggling. Anyone have any advice? Does this eventually get easier and become more normal? This is my only complaint with my new sleeve. Otherwise everything is going beautifully

  12. Ooh I'm on pureed and I love it! Real food! I've done: Refried beans Pureed chicken with gravy Pureed meatloaf with gravy Mashed potatoes Mashed sweet potatoes Pureed chili Ricotta bake Tilapia
  13. Congrats on your success!
  14. Yep I would bet it's dehydration. How many oz of liquids are you getting in daily? I would def call your dr, they will most likely send u to the ER for fluids. I've been through it twice and have felt better quickly after some iv fluids.
  15. Wow! What a transformation! You look awesome!
  16. I'm thankful my surgery and recovery have gone fairly well. I'm also thankful for my family being so supportive. I'm thankful to be on pureeds and eating real food
  17. I get the gurgles sometimes. Not sure what causes it. Sometimes happens when I try a new food.
  18. I was given capsule actigall and prilosec at 2 weeks out. Been fine since.
  19. I ended up in the hospital twice for dehydration. Hard to get those liquids in!
