OMG October 2013 Post-ops
I just got home last night from my rny on the 9th..whoever says we are taking the easy way out are full of crap! But everyday will get better just gotta have faith.

I had hiatal hernia repair last yr. That's why he is suggesting the bypass- Oct 5 surgery date

Yep I was actually at hospital waiting for surgery when he came in and told me the same thing! Then I had to wait 3 more weeks for insurance approval.- Oct 5 surgery date
The same exact thing happened to me! Now my date is Oct. 9 for the bypass. I was also confused because through this whole process I was focused on this forum for the sleeve! Now I'm OK with getting the bypass . I've been on the gastric bypass forum. So I know how you feel.- October 5th d day for gastric sleeve 2013

I was scheduled for surgery on the 19th. but at the last minute my surgeon decided I should have a RNY instead of the sleeve due to a large hiatal hernia I had repaired last year! So now im waiting for my insurance approval which took 2 mos. last time... ugh- im so disappointed..
