7. Holly, So sorry to hear of your medical problems. For that diagnosis although it may seem like a long time, a year is the waiting period. You need to stay positive and know that you are ALWAYS welcome in this forum!!
8. Just an update from my sleeve on October 7th, little over two months ago. I am officially below doctors goal weight for my, standing five foot seven and weighing 172 pounds! My personal goal is 170-175. Just wanted to send an update to all my fellow sleevers and/or soon to be. :-)
9. I've been busy through the holiday season and Black Friday. Went Black Friday CRAZY!!! Congrats Holl on an official date!!! Yippie!!!

14. Thanks Auntie Vick! Long time no talk to, dry! I'm feeling GREAT! How are things your way?
15. I'm feeling GREAT and down just about 50 pounds!!! Sorry for the delay in response, had a problem with app but I'm back! Feeling (and looking) great!
16. I started this Albany section and I've slacked my friends, so sorry. Was sleeved last month, October 7th and I am now down 50 pounds and feel amazing I'll be posting pictures soon. Glad we got a couple more people. I haven't found the diet to be restricting at all, as I really have no desire for food. I found a great Lemonade (so tired of water) that follows the restrictions that has helped me be . Able to get my liquids down, which I'm doing with no problem. It's Minute Maid LIGHT. 15 calories a glass and sugar is only 2 grams :-) Hope everyone is doing well :-) :-) :-)
17. Steeks, I don't know what your hospital requirements are but 30 oz of liquids a day is not a lot at all. I was sleeved on this past Monday, October 7th, and I'm required to consume 64 oz of fluids daily. I do three sugar free popsicles, which equal 60 oz and I sip as much as I can throughout day.
18. Sleeved last Monday, October 7th, and left hospital Thursday. Pain is MUCH better, still having difficulty getting up and out of chair and bed. Consuming proper amount of liquids thanks to surgery free popsicles. Down about 20 pounds, off four meds already, wedding rings don't fit, feeling pretty good. Pictures from surgery, did not require stitching, incisions were glued, and are looking amazing. Bruises are NOT from surgery, they are from having to stop Coumadin two weeks prior to surgery and replace them with Lovenox shots. Pics attached :-)
19. The bruising is NOT from surgery, it is from having to stop my Coumadin medicine two weeks prior to surgery and switch it to Lovenox shots that I had to do in my stomach twice a day for two weeks. Just didn't want anyone to think it was from surgery.
20. I had my surgery on October 7th, this past Monday and this morning was the first morning I was able to COMFORTABLY get out of bed. I did not need stitching or stapling, but was glued so don't know how the effects it. Everyone's diff This is the first day I woke up not going right to pain meds, it's almost 12:30pm, still haven't needed one. Walking helps A LOT. Best of luck to you! Attached some pics from my surgery. Bruising is not from surgery, but from Lovenox shots I had to do for two weeks prior to surgery. 21. Had my surgery this past Monday, 10/07/13, and got home Thursday evening from hospital. Everything went great, been sipping and walking and doing what I need to. Pain is moderate and with sipping and walking is fading away. Down just about 20 pounds and already off four meds and testing shows no longer pre diabetic. My incisions look great and were glued, no stapling or stitching. Have attached pics. Hope all is well with everyone :-)
22. Sleeved this past Monday 10/07/13, released yesterday. Moderate discomfort, walking in uncomfortable but a must, love my Percocet, and trying to stay on top of drinking. Kept an extra day for not taking in enough fluid which I'm finding hard to do. Incisions look great. 23. Sleeved this past Monday 10//07/13, released from hospital yesterday. Slowly recovering, incision s look great, pain being controlled, trying to condone proper amount of liquids not easy. 24. Sleeved this past Monday, 10/07/2013, and released home yesterday. Doing okay, some pain and discomfort and working on consuming proper amount on liquids.
