In preop....ahhhhh!!

On my way to hospital for my sleeve today:) getting excited and nervous! My surgery time is 10am

I'm in pre-op now - excited to get this done. Blessings to all of the 1/23 sleevers :)

Best wishes and blessing to all having surgery today 1/23:)

I had my surgery yesterday morning. I'm sore, but doing fine. I've been walking as much as possible. I am so thirsty! I'm waiting to have my leak test.

Liquid diet in less than 24 hours and surgery on the 31st.. BRING IT !!!!!! : )

I'm one week away from my diet and one week into my liquid diet. It's getting easier but I've started figuring out my binge eating times. I always seem to gravitate to the kitchen right at 4pm. It's just crazy that in a week I hopefully won't feel this hunger at all.

On our way to the hospital. Surgery is at noon. Emotions are running high but I pray that everything will go smoothly. Good luck to everyone today!!

Good luck. You all will do fine. I had surgery Monday and the worse thing for me has been the spasms. Getting better though.

2 Weeks Post op with no complications. Feeling good down 33 lbs. Had to go get new sweat pants and had to get XL size because XXL was too big. Oh what a feeling!!!! Loving the journey. 85 lbs to go.

wow - fantastic... 2 weeks out and 33 lbs!!!! I am two weeks out and down only 13 lbs from day of surgery (23 lbs from beginning of year)! I am feeling good about losing the weight, but I see your loss and wonder what I need to be doing!?! My doc has me on soft foods - not puree, but chicken or whatever as long as it is super soft! What are you doing at this point? Keep up the great work!

I'm 2 weeks today and also down 13lbs. 53 total which I love but anxious to see the post surgery lbs add up. I'm on puréed food starting today so can't wait till dinner time when I can eat MEAT! Even puréed meat will be ok. I made pork chops in my slow cooker last weeks, so packaged up 1/2 cups of meat and gravy for myself out of the leftovers. Yummy! Hoping I have no problems eating it.

Hey all! It's my second day at the hospital. The surgery went fine, I had some complications but I'm all better now. I still haven't had water and I'm parched haha.

Good luck to all!

All your stories are so inspiring and I am so glad there is this venue to turn to. My surgery has been set for February 20, 2013. My Pre-op Class is 2/12 and I meet with my surgeon on 2/13. I am so excited and sure wish it was sooner. Seeing all the posts on here give me a general idea what to expect. I am worried about (constipation), yeah that problem. I have it so bad now because of all the vitamins and dieting. Sure hope I get something to counteract this problem. Well I am closing for now, thank all!
