  1. I'm at 79lbs lost at 6 months. I paid out of pocket since my insurance doesn't cover WLS so I didn't have to do weight management classes or the egd. I had my surgery at Victory Medical Center (SO SO NICE) and I'm always open to questions!
  2. Love Dr. Scarborough! Just hit my 6month surgiversary! Best choice ever!!
  3. My mom used Dr. Turnquest and has been very happy
  4. Me either- I've heard of insurance requiring it but I've never heard if anyone not being allowed surgery for gaining.. The whole point of the surgery is because you can't seem to lose weight despite dieting.
  5. What do you mean by too strict?
  6. I had mine at Victory Medical Center- I haven't found any groups but I'm open to starting one on our side of town.

  13. EMSJen- what was your total out of pocket to go to Mexico?
  14. Oh I did get it Fresco style (no cheese but with Pico) so good.
  15. I had a cool ranch flavor. I couldn't eat them every night but I felt okay after doing it. After the past six weeks I really thought I'd never be normal again.
  16. Oh and to take it back to the OP... I just had a Doritos Locos Taco (8 weeks out) and it was TASTY.
  17. I left this site weeks ago because of how bitter and mean people were and I really don't want to leave again. I just don't understand how things get so ugly so fast.
  18. I'm in Kingwood. I'm two months post op and FINALLY starting to feel good. I had some complications from a stomach virus at three weeks but I'm getting on track.
  19. I just husband to the store for taco shells, turkey meat and lactaid. I wont cave to the Bell but I MUST have a Taco NOW!!
  20. I want a taco or a quesadilla but cheese is so not my friend right now.
  21. Sleeved on 1/30 and officially down 50 lbs today. I wish I felt better but I got an infection three weeks ago and I'm still recovering from that. Just very tired and have LOTS of gas. Not not fun.
  22. I've never had super huge legs.. I've always been able to wear boots they've just always been tight. I'm so excited to buy more! I live in Houston... Cowboy boots are always a necessity!
  23. I'm sure y'all will think I'm nuts but I'm just so excited. I love wearing boots. Cowboy boots, knee high boots etc. My ENTIRE life my boots have always been right around my ankles and my calves. I never have had that extra space around top. Well tonight that's of the past. I put on a pair of knee high winter boots and I had extra space. They weren't tight... In fact they were almost too big!!!! A month ago I had to leave the tops of this exact pair unzipped a little because they were so tight!! I can't wait for more victories!!!
  24. I had no problem with water until I got a stomach virus. Now I've been making decaf tea with a little Splenda... Seems to go down much smoother.
