Any Tennessee Sleevers Out There?

I'm scheduled for surgery 8/27 in Memphis....looking for other Tennesseans to share the journey with. I'm both excited and scared.

Hope all goes well! That's where I had mine! Which Dr? Walk the halls when they let you!!

Me too! I hope I can do that in a year' date=' or maybe the year after. It looks like so much! The color run looks amazing too. Wow... I just realized I said I wanted to run. That's a first in my life time.[/quote']

I thought that myself...now I am doing it! When my dr said a lot of his patients run at some point after surgery, I laughed at him. He will be proud when I go for my one year in April!

I live in Clarksville and was sleeved December 4. I love it I'm down from 240 to 207.

Dr. Westmoreland was also my surgeon. Nov 15th. He is a great surgeon and a wonderful man. The whole staff is awesome. Best of luck!!! I know you will be a success.

Doing well everyone. Heading into my first full week post-op. I'm down 17lbs from last Tuesday as of Monday morning! I can't believe it! Sick of jello right now though. Any creative meal recommendations during the full liquid stage? How's everyone doing?

Congrats! I've been eating more carbs today, because I sick with a sore throat. They are the one thing that doesn't irritate me when I swallow. Got to get back on track..may need to go get jello!

It is hard man, but you can fight through it. It will help you on surgery day if you stick to it as close as you can.

I started my 2nd week of protein shakes. I crave carbs. Its not easy to stick with however I know it'll be worth it when it comes to the surgery.

I also got an "all clear" from my PCP today about having the surgery done in April in MX. Oh and I'm down 20lbs in 3 weeks. Woo Hoo!!!
