  5. Thanks for all the great posts. I am dealing with a slow loss as well. sleeved 11/15 and only down 28lbs. Really thought it would go faster. I am so glad to read I am not alone. But I will be a cheerleader for those who are going faster!!!! Went to see my Dr today. He was satisfied with the loss and told me any loss over the holiday has to be a plus. And he is right. Keep it up everyone!!

  7. Thanks katsmeow. I have been to a couple of groups, but wasn't sure. You are doing great!! I haven't been doing nearly as well, but hope to catch up soon
  8. I had my surgery Nov. 15th. I am only down 18lbs. I feel like such a failure. I am really trying to get the protein in and drink the water. So frustrated!! I understand your pain of holiday foods, but I have been good and stayed away from all the sweets, it really isn't bothering me, I just don't understand why I am still not losing. I lost 62lbs on my self imposed preop and my liquid diet. Feel like I was doing better on my own. Makes no sense. Sorry, just needed to vent.
  9. My Dr is in Murfreesboro at MTMC. He is awesome. Dr. Westmoreland. He has a support group there too. Not sure if it is open to all, but I am headed there this morning. My son is a student at MTSU in his 3rd year. Let me know if I can help in any way.

  20. If you get one that closes in the front, it will stay off your stitches and be more comfortable. easier to manage after surgery too.
  21. Way to go!! Keep up the good work.
