Where are you?

This post made me sad. :(

I'm 1.5 weeks pre-op and I confess I don't know what it's like yet' date=' BUT if eating out with your family is what you love, why would you stop??

You may have eaten more than you should have, but this happens even to skinny people. You make up for it later, by eating less or exercising.

I keep hearing that the sleeve is a tool to help you. It's not a prison!

Ditto to everyone posting how they are ready to kill for a glass of wine because their NUT said no, never again. :( that's not living. Take a sip of wine for crying out loud.[/quote']

Surely we can drink alcohol again cant we ?

Ok, here goes nothing:

- I confess I'm still a boredom eater, I eat 2-3 bites of food every few hours.

- I confess I don't exercise as much as I should

- I confess I am afraid to try certain foods because of fear of being sick:(

- I confess losing weight is great, but I can't afford to buy a lot of clothes,so I am low on outfits.

- I confess I worry I am not doing as well as I should be..-54 lbs in 14 weeks

I confess...

- I haven't been to the gym in a month.

- I have weighed myself everyday this week (normally only 1-2x a week) because I'm SSSOOO close to the century club!

- I get really irritated with some people's "holier than thou" preachy' date=' opinionated attitudes on this site which makes me not post for fear of judgment and ridicule. Why can't we just all get along???

- I'm really sad about getting rid of all of my clothes. All I see is wasted (because I have A LOT of clothes).

- I've only told a few close friends this... I plan on staying single during this journey so I can see what kind of "ass I can pull" and truly enjoy the attention I get! <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />[/quote']

I love the last one! LOL!

I confess that I am sitting here on the day before surgery reading these confessions eating sugar free jello and slurping chicken broth and wishing I had a double cheese burger from Wendy's with a large fry and a coke!!

Surely we can drink alcohol again cant we ?

One of my friends had the procedure in June and she's had wine. I will go crazy without some wine!

1. I confess that I'm in my third month of supervised diet and cheated all this month

2. I'm scared of this weight management appt cause I only weight every month I'm afraid I gained

3.i confess I lied last month to my pcp about exercising

4. I confess that when I get sleeve I'm scared that when I loss weight I'm change and be judgmental

5. I confess that I'm obsess about having the surgery cause when I go shopping with friend I hate that the get to by stuff from forever 21 it use to be my store way back when ...

I too am a therapist and only messing someone for 30 minutes would not let me know if they are lying. I hate to say it but if it was not a requirement for insurance out would not be done. I don't think self pay have one our people that have it done I'm mexico. I consider myself a good therapist and I cannot tell upfront if someone was lying. I would not share my whole life story with someone I am never going to see again. I would be fine walking in and a mess.walking out. Then what

Actually many doctors require it as well. I'm self pay and had to have one just as all of my doctors patients do.

That said, of course I wasn't honest. I wasn't going to go into abuse as a child etc because that isn't my problem and I don't want to talk to a stranger about it.

Yes, though I know some nuts say don't ever drink...but I for one wouldnt have considered the sleeve if I could never drink again. My nut says no wine while healing for four months. The docs nurse says six and the doc says three but advises that you avoid it during the most rapid weight loss period because it's high calorie.

Texas Diva, I'm in League City so we are probably only 10 miles from each other. Maybe we can meet up? Work out? I'm always ready to make new friends. Send me a message and we can plan something if you want.

1. I confess I am sorry I told the early restrictions to my family because I do not need them policing me.

2. I confess I take gulps all the time and finish my liquids faster then I am suppose to... oh well there is air and pain when I sip

3. I dreamt of coffee 5 times right after surgery and love me a decaf skinny sugar free carmel latte (5 in 2nd week post op)

4. I am so excited when I go out and do things with friends who have no idea I had this surgery 2 weeks ago!

5. I totally thought I would be a fast looser and am stumped that I am average.... not much you can do about it though.

bonus - I purposely make half truth Facebook posts to tweak out all the legalist out there who know I had WLS and think the worst, I am evil and think it is fun!

Thanks for all who posted.... read every single one tonight.

I totally understand....I sometimes am afraid to eat because of fear of getting sick....I can fit some clothes that I had gotten to big for so I am happy to at least have those.

I confess since my vacation in mid July I have not made good food choices...portions yes but nutritious food no.

I confess I never get all my water and vitamins in.

I confess I enjoy drinks on the weekends even though I know they are responsible for my slowing weight loss.

I confess that I miss my shoes...of all the things to not fit! Seriously?!

I confess I watch my boyfriend eat like **** and refuse to exercise with me and I despise him a little for it...I am less and less attracted to him everyday...which makes me feel like a jerk and a hypocrit!

You were on vacation, I know once I am sleeved if I go on vacation my diet will be a little more lax as well.I am lucky my hubs is an exercise junkie but he eats like a beast and I have already let him know that has got to stop lol.
