I Can't Wait To Not Have To...

While I'm waiting to be sleeved, I constantly look forward to being healthy and slim. There are many daily reminders of why I decided to embark on this adventure.

We've all had moments where we think to ourselves, "Oh, I can't wait to NOT have to do this anymore!" For instance, having to "go by feel" to buckle up your seatbelt in the car, having to wake up to turn over in bed, sweating continuously...

What are some of yours?

I know this sounds weird' date=' but have you tried using antiperspirant on your inner thighs? Works wonders for me - even during 100* summer days.[/quote']

Yep, I know that trick and you're right-it does work wonders. I am just looking forward to it not being an issue :-)

I can't wait to try new things because I am always scared to do anything... I have been like this all my adult life!

I can't wait to be able to accept my husbands offer of wearing his jacket on a cool night. I hate always saying "thanks but it won't come close to fitting".

One that I have developed recently, as my weight has gone up:

I can't wait to not have to check the weight limits on things: zip-lining, bungee jump rides, treadmills, chairs, etc....

Also, as a Coach bag-a-holic: I can't wait to not be disappointed that the new purse I fell in love with doesn't fit on my arm in any comfortable way, shape or form because the straps are too small for my chubby arms.

Jusstice, I know what you mean!! I want a purse that crosses over my body. My daughter has the cutest black coach purse that she wears across her body and leaves her hands free. I WANT that!!

I think that will be a lil gift to myself when I'm at goal. :)

I cannot wait for the following: feeling healthy, being able to get up fr/ sitting w/out throbbing pain, sitting comfortably in chairs/ cars, being able to wear normal sizes & not worrying about the robe when I get my hair "did" fitting or not, going shopping & clothes fitting ESP. Jeans, my list could go on & on:-/

As a Dad/Guy, here are a few things I can't wait to not have to do:

Put off going camping, hiking, fishing, biking and other outdoor activities

Not being able to ride amusement park rides with my kids - finally take my son to Magic Mountain!

Having to dress 10 years older because that's what fits

Worrying about weight limits for furniture and activities

Make excuses for not going to the beach

Having my size/weight define who I am

Worry about hypertension, diabetes and heart disease as a result of my weight

I can't wait: until i can wear boots with zippers, to feel comfortable going into the stores my friends want to go into, not having to worry if I'll fit into the rollercoaster or not, to not have my thighs touch, buying a bra from victoria's secret that fits me properly, not being the fat friend, to feel comfortable taking pics with my friends, when my double chin is completely gone, having defined collar bones, not having to get necklace extensions! Oh boy. The list can go on and on, haha.

I can't wait until I don't have to hide from people because the fear of the looks on their face. I can't wait until stretch material is not my material of choice. I can't wait to stop wearing jackets or sweaters to cover my big arms or the rolls on my back. I'm tired of having a dent on my side of the mattress... I just want to be normal and not make excuses for my size... November can't come quick enough!

I can't wait to stop hearing "My, you got fat!"

PEOPLE ACTUALLY SAY THAT TO YOU??

Ahhh, the mattress dent...I know it well. And the sweater or jacket with EVERY outfit.

Just remembered one: I can't wait to not have my arse cheek pinched/caught as I sit on a toilet with a loose seat that shifts off in one direction while I overcompensate in the other direction. Ouchie.

Been there...done that!

I can't wait to Not Struggle getting up off the couch!! Or looking in the mirror that's on the closet door across from my couch and seeing Jaba the Hut sitting on the couch.
