  6. I've 'only' lost 20 lbs in the first 4 weeks. Wait...what! I lost 20 lbs! How awesome is that! Perspective is everything! Each one of us will lose at a different rates for all sorts of reasons. A loss is a loss is a loss....
  7. My info's all in my signature lines:
  8. I didn't have them either. My surgeon said it depended on how well he could get all the excess fluid out.
  9. One of the best threads ever! True man love is getting your chops busted on a regular basis!
  10. I'm just a few weeks behind you and feel the same way.

  16. Congrats. For me, the first two days were the roughest and by day 3, I felt good and it's gotten better each day since.

  22. My preop diet was only 1 day so I don't think there was much of a loss. I did set a goal of 47-lbs loss during the 6 month supervised diet plan and was proud of myself for surpassing it and losing 63. Good luck.
  23. Too funny! Love your Blog, keep it up.
  24. It's best to eat every 2 or 3 hours. I have a Greek Yogurt in between each meal as a snack to fill me up and give me extra protein. The yogurts with my fluids, are keeping me feeling full and getting me through the day. Good luck.
  25. Just over two weeks post op and doing pretty well. On Friday I saw the Dr. and my incisions are healing nicely and I was given the go ahead to progress to soft foods. I tried eating a scrambled egg and after having all liquids for several weeks, it felt WEIRD eating real food. I could actually feel it in my stomach. I will be making this food transition very SLOWLY! With three shakes and two yogurts a day, I'm getting in over 100g of protein and trying to make sure to keep my fluids up. I'm down 13.2 since surgery. It seems to be a little on the slow side compared to others, but I'll take it knowing more is to come. Blessings all!
  26. Day 2 was the hardest for me. By day 3, I felt human again and it's gotten better each day since.
