i have been going thru the 6 month pre-op thing with dietician. They want me to use myfittnesspal as a food journal. i used to use it with my ipod and it worked great it downloaded the food lookup list, now i got a smartphone and it constantly used data plan looking up foods and makes it slower this way. Is there a way to download the food list in my phone like the ipod did. thanks for your help

No ... But it will save a list if foods you have had before... You can scan the item if you have a bar code. If you have a computer you can also go on that to the myfitnesspal.com web site and log in and search and add food to the saved list that way. Then it will show up in the list on your phone when you search!

I keep trying to use my fitness pal. Getting frustrated because its figuring everything on my weight.. Please help!

Make sure you are using the web version, not the app.

Do we have a group for those of us who use Myfitnesspal?

My sign in is papamick48 if you want to check out the website or if you are already on there and want to share your progress. My trouble is that I can't remember to log my daily intake in. Maybe belonging to a group of us would help me to do that.

Do you have a smartphone? There is a free app for your phone (iphone or android). I always log via my phone and rarely log on via my actual computer. Makes logging so much easier - especially if you are at a restaurant or something. You can add me if you like - adiggs2777.

Is anyone using Myfitnesspal? I found it on the App Store on my phone, it's fantastic you can track everything from food nutrition, weight, diary progress and lots more

You can add friends to it so its a bit like a social thing too.

If you do have it add me - jodaggers
