  1. I'm 1 week postoperative and finding it really hard to sleep at night, I'm only managing 2-3 hours at the most, I'm thinking it could be down to the amont calories I'm having, is anyone else having the same or had the same?? Jo x
  2. I'm also really happy that I dont have to think about food 24/7, I ruled my life as most of you know that happens, so instead of thinking about food the first thing when I wake up I know think about what beautiful clothes I'm gonna wear that day xx
  3. Is anyone using Myfitnesspal? I found it on the App Store on my phone, it's fantastic you can track everything from food nutrition, weight, diary progress and lots more You can add friends to it so its a bit like a social thing too. If you do have it add me - jodaggers

  8. I'm having my band fitted 7th November and my first fill is booked in (as long as everything is ok) on the19th December xx

Only my husband and two best friends know, I'm so excited I want to shout it from the roof tops but I know most people won't be helpful, for instance I'm down the 14 st and having my band fitted this Friday, a few so called friends have said "don't lose no more weight it won't suit you" REALLY!!! Or is it they can't lose any weigh and they don't want me to do well, so because of that I'm not telling anyone else. Good luck all x
  10. Hello all I'm have my band fitted in 7 days and would love a buddy/friend that's going though the same as me, my friends don't understand why I'm having a gastric band fitted, they wouldn't they weight about 9st, always up for a friendly chat Jo x

  12. Hiya briefs199, I know it so soon I've only just started the pre op diet, finding it ok, I'm all excited so coping well, I'm sticking to shakes mainly and soups to shrink my liver. Well done on sticking to plan when you was out at the party, I've got a few things going on like pre Christmas meals and drinks, I'm just gonna say I'm not well and can't go cause I don't trust myself yet, which will be hard because only two friend and my partner know what I'm having done.   13. I'm being banded 7th November so ready for this, currently doing a liver shrinking diet before my op, find it ok 1000cal a day. I see most people are from the USA on here, I'm from England looking forward to talking to you x jo
