Still in pain

I'm 1week postoperative and still in a lot of pain is this normal?? When did you all start to feel better?. TIA

Everyone is different, I thought something was wrong with me because most people I had talked to had very little pain. It took about 2 weeks for it to start going away for me. Hang in there.
