Congrats on your weightloss so far. I bet it feels great to start noticing the changes in your body!

I got sleeved on 2/19/13. I'm 5' 1". My weight before starting my pre-op diet was 261. My weight at my last doctor's visit was 251 before my surgery.. Yesterday I weighed in at my first post-op visit and I am 238. Yay!!!

I'm just starting the process. Still need a bunch of check marks before the insurance will approve. I'm 5'2", just made the cut off! Looking to lose 108lbs, already lost 11.6! Any tips on quicker weight loss post s surgery?

Hello! 5"2 here. Hw:235.2 Cw: 228 Gw: 115 though surgeon feels anything below 140 is a victory. Insurance goal for me was :160

So I hope to get down more I'm still in the pre-op phase month 1 so I have time.

I'm 5'2". Pre-op. Four months into six month requirements for ins. Started at 252 and following dietitians diet now 237. Hoping for surgery in July. Lots of times I am the shortest AND fatest person in a room.

Shari...for most of my adult life this is how I felt and I finally feel more "normal" whatever that is, still one of the shortest at 4'11" but no longer the fattest. I still have a ways to go, but I don't feel ashamed of my size anymore...great not to feel like you stand out and are subject to everyone's judgement of your weight. My closest friends and family never really made remarks before, but I know the truth....and in some ways that truth set me free. The other side of the coin is I have energy. I can run up and down the stairs without huffing and puffing, I can fit into almost any booth, I no longer snore or get winded and out of breath, I love to be outside involved in stuff and no longer live the sedentary life....it is a miraculous change and this has made me feel so much better about myself. Good luck to you!!

Hello everyone! Greetings from sunny CA.I'm 4'9, I'm 5 days post OP and doing ok. Starting weight was 225, 200 on day of surgery, currently 194 (yikes)! Wishing everyone a victorious, healthy journey!!!
