  6. Thank You everyone...Its been a great ride.I hear people doubting there decision about the surgery but I would do it all over again...It's been a lot of hard work. but I AM WORTH IT!
  7. I wanted to post my newest photos because I'm so excited to be 6 months out from my surgery and down 60 pounds. Speaking of 60, I'm also excited that 60 percent of my excess weight is GONE!
  8. I just went to the doctor and asked him this question...And he said sleeve patients loose about 77% of there excess weight..were full gastral bypass patients loose approx 80% of there original excess weight..I've never had the band so I'm not sure of there outcomes...My question is what stops us from loosing 100% of our excess weight? My eye is on the prize ! No one is telling me that I can't loose 100 %..
  9. Yes ..you can eat more..I'm at 6 months and the doctor says we should be eating 3/4 of a cup of food...and later in the 1 year mark 1 cup. I have a question..after all this work why are you thinking of when you can eat fast food.?
  10. I didn't tell anyone about my surgery until the weekend before my surgery.I just didn't want to here any negative talk..especially from family..My husband and my daughter were the only ones that knew...It was my journey .
  11. I really enjoy Pure Protein Bars..alot of protien in a nice size bar..

I am an August sleever also.I have lost appox 56 pounds. The last 5 weeks I haven't lost anything. So I went to a trainer and started a new workout program. Then I went back to the nutrionalist to go over my calorie count per day..who knew I wasn't eating enough...And finally today I lost 1 more pound..
  14. Were is the Pics? Congratulations.!
  15. Can you tell me what your beginning weight and current weight is?
  16. No ..I work with all women..And I do think at least 30 percent are just waiting to see us gain some weight back..or slip up..I do get some rude comments like..."I see your eating more now"or are you suppose to eat that...I would like to say I am happy for the people who loose weight..I am a lifetime member of weight watchers..and worked there for some time..so I am always going for the underdog..I think worse then women , are family members that are waiting for you to slip up...
  17. I am almost 6 months out also, I still can't believe its my body..I wake up thinking its a dream and I still will be overweight but thanks to a decision I made to change my life it worked out wonderful..58 lbs and counting...It slowed up alittle but I am going to increase my gym workout to shake it up..Good Luck with those braces!
  18. I am so proud of you ! I have been following you since I had my surgery you have inspired me to believe that I can do whatever I put my too. It's snowing here..so it will be a gym day for me.
  19. Hi ..I also have only 82lbs to loose when I had surgery.I'm only 4 foot 9..so my BMI was high and was able to get the surgery..I am now 5 months and 2 weeks out and lost about 55 lbs..but it has slowed up now and I have to work for every pound I loose..I go to the gym 3 times a week and eat only what is healthy for my sleeve..I wouldn't worry about loosing too much..I would do this again in a minute...Its giving me my life back...and that is a wonderful feeling...You deserve it.
  20. You are truly an inspiration...So now we need to get rid of those plaid shirts and wear something more form fitting ...Keep up the good work..
  21. I don't remember them putting it in..or taking it out ..I think I was under for both..But the only thing I do have to say is that they warned me some patients get there period with the surgery and sure enough it brought my period on....
  22. I love PURE PROTEIN shakes..You can purchase them at target and wallmart..They are not thick and very tasty..
