Seeking Buddies 5'2" & Under

  • Popular Post

I wanted to start a forum for members who are pre or post op and are 5'2" and under. I am 4'9" and post-op. In 4 months, I have lost over 50 lbs and would like to connect with others of my body type so we can compare stories and support each other.

I am going through the Bariatric Surgery Program at San Antonio Military Medical Center( formerly BAMC)

@kalimomof3 - I'm in San Antonio as well & am familiar with BAMC. Keep us posted on your journey. Wishing you the best.

Awesome loss for 3 mos, I hope I do that well! I think 120 is a pipe dream for me though at this point I would be over the moon to even see 160 again. I am going to try my hardest to make 135:)

Add me to the short list as well ;) I am 5' and weigh 210 pounds. Surgery scheduled for August 28th and I can't wait!! Start my pre-op diet on August 21st. Best of luck to everyone!! Excited to find this thread!

4'12".................... You are the first person I've ever seen try to make themselves sound shorter. :D

I'm 5'2", 225 (for now) and my surgery is August 21, I'm an apple and the 10 lbs I've lost over the last 2 months has already changed the way my clothes fit. I'm having a hard time not buying new jeans. My first goal is to weigh less than 200 by mid-Nov. I can't wait for the actual surgery. Feel free to remind me of that statement if I whine later.

I think the 12 makes me unique :P

Well well, to my surprise I have 'shrunk'. All these years I thought I was 5'2 and I am with tennis shoes on! LOL But at my surgeons office they measure without shoes and I am 5'1. (helps with BMI they say) :)

So, I am scheduled for THIS Thursday in Mansfield Texas with Dr Dyslin. I start Clear liquids tomorrow......

woooohooo can't wait! :)

Anyone close by, we can be support buddies.

Let me know, okay?

Have a good night everyone,

LaQuita
