Congrats!

I didn't even know Riverside had a Bariatric program. That's great! I'm happy you have a date.

Same surgery date...we can do this ...and I am in dc

That's awesome! Where were you sleeved and how are you doing?

Scheduled march 21st, at providence. Don't love the hospital but the surgeon is great.

Oh I'm sorry, I thought you said we had the same surgery date. No biggie. I'm not familiar with Providence but as long as you have faith in your surgeon you should do well!!

10 days out of surgery. I am doing well. I have more of an appetite now. My only issue is dreaming and thinking of food. LOL Does anyone else do that?

I felt the same way. I swear people would walk past me and they would look like turkey sandwiches. Once I started eating "normal" food it stopped.

Congrats on being Sleeved!

Thank you so much. I hope it does. LOL

Today's the day! I have to be at the hospital at 11:30. I am very nervous and couldn't sleep a wink.

g.m i know its been awhile but happy to say surgery is this morning. yeahhhhh. praying for a safe and fast recovery god willing. i will keep u guys updated

I haven't been sleeved yet. I started my journey in May and had my pysch evaluation and was cleared for that yesterday. I see myv NUT the 21st and hopefully will get my date soon after. I am looking to hopefully have my surgery between September and October.

Sleeved 7/17/12 and having a hard go of it. Very difficult to get in liquids and def having issues with protein. Everyone keeps saying "it will get better", right now I'm not exactly believing it but so i hope it does.

I know exactly how you feel. I had a hard go of it for a month after my surgery. I couldn't get the protein in but my nutritionist said not to worry about that just keep hydrated. I remember thinking I had made the biggest mistake of my life and that I would never make it but here I am a year after and I know I made the best decision of my life.

Just drink Water whenever you can and I promise it will get easier. I lived off water, watermelon and sucking on oranges while on full liquids. You can do it.
