You've done an outstanding job! You even look taller, but I can see from the door frame that you're height hasn't changed at all! Isn't that something? Keep up the good work...and share your workout routine with us, please.

My workout is basic cardio. I jog (@13 min mile) a 5k 3-4 times a week. I started walking 2 miles, then power walk, then slow jog, then increased to 5k. I stay at slow jog because I want to run for 40-45 minutes.

I eat 600-1000 calories a day depending on my appetite.

Mostly raw spinach and chicken or fish. No red meat, venison only which I harvest myself during hunting season.

Breakfast - 2 cups of coffee and a shake

lunch - 2-3 cups of raw spinach, shredded cheddar, chicken, & ranch dressing. Half of this for lunch.< /p>

dinner - the rest of my lunch. If im still hungry, a shake.< /p>

Thats about it. Pretty routine and boring, but im a routine guy.

I reward myself every 10-15lbs with a bowl of cookie dough blue bell ice cream. Then run a bit harder the next day.

Thanks for all the encouragement. Its really appreciated!

Donnie

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
