Got my IV and a shot in my tummy for blood clots (wasn't expecting that) waiting to go into surgery. Thanks to all of you being there for this. See you on the other side.

I'm on the other side resting pretty comfortably in my hospital room. Not too much pain just taking it easy.

Lisa-I am so happy everything went well-I am so happy for you!! My surgery is tomorrow & I am running last minute errands so I can stock the fridge/pantry with goodies for when I return. Also have about 6 loads of laundry to do-not sure when I'll feel up to doing it again.

Hi everyone- doing well except for gas pains and crappy yellow Jello at the hospital. Can't really get comfy on the bed. Took a walk around that was good. Mouth is really dry. But no real pain.

NPO after midnight the night before. Be there at 11:15, surgery @ 12:15 - plan to be there between 3 and 4 hours.

Kinda gross, but also don't forget to clean your belly button... That is usually one of the incision sites. They will clean it for you also but I am amazed what comes out of it...

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
