But I am really second guessing this whole thing! I am scheduled for surgery on the 20th. That is just 8 days away. I don't know why I feel like this. I have had surgeries in the past and haven't really been freaked out over them. I am not afraid of the surgery itself, I think what I am afraid of is giving up food. Does that make sense to anyone? I mean, everything seems to revolve around meals. Birthdays, holidays, parties, and for that matter, Fridays! Fridays have always been family night out. Our treat. And then other nights... we are one of the few families that still gather every evening at the dining room table to eat and discuss our day. How are things going to change??? And, I'm gonna just say it.... I LOVE EATING! There. I love it. Am I going to be able to do this? I need this, I want this, I gave up smoking to be able to have this.. so why am I doubting it now????
Well, thanks for reading my rant. Any encouragment is appreciated!
