  9. Thing that helped me most was learning! I read the bandwagon by Jean McMillan. I also really got involved with this site. I read the posts from the people who were successful, copied their road to thin. we all worry before our surgery but, we all get through it. keep posting and reading, good luck. we like to help on this forum, really!!
  10. GOOD FOR YOU GIRL!!! WE ALL LOVE THE SUCCESS STORIES.

  12. You are only 7 days out, I think the depression is probably leftover drugs from surgery. this is unfortunately normal. keep yourself busy, walk as much as possible and when you are with friends and family, ALWAYS have something to drink with you. don't be caught unprepared! You will make it through this, we all did! Keep thinking about the melting pounds!!!!

  14. I drink Whey protein shakes with I make by adding milk. I use jay robb, like it 'cause it is low in carb, high in protein 25 and very low in sugar (no fake sugars; sucralose, aspartame). great flavor with milk or soy milk you get lots of your daily protein! you can buy a shaker with a mixing ball inside to make them, easy! much more nutritious for you.
  15. Have you been keeping track of you inches lost? you might be surprised at what is really going on in your body!! Make sure to keep drinking LOTS of water too. hang in there, it will start coming off.

  17. Sometimes I think it just helps all of us to communicate with another person who really gets it. we forget what we need to do. a few friendly reminders will hopefully get you back on track, don't give up! this is not a race just keep moving in the right direction, even if it in slow motion. thank you for seeking help, we all want you to succeed for life!

  20. I agree with a newdawn; if you get back into tracking your food intake(myfitnesspal.com) you will see how Protein you are actually getting. you will also see what kind of nutrition you are not getting from the sweets! all foods are on myfpal!!! remember protein helps you feel satisfied much longer. give it a try and see if you feel better and start seeing results again. sugar is an addictive food source, it is not going to be easy the first few days. you can do this, sugary foods are not really that good, are they? sorry if I sound rough. I think you 'fessed up cause you want help, we will do that. this site is very helpful, people do care and will listen. Good luck and keep in touch everyday.
  21. What I see is that you want help. you came to the right place, keep posting each day. read lots of the posts for ideas. take it easy on yourself and do it one day at a time. maybe sometimes you will have to do one hour at a time. I want to see you succeed and I know I am not alone, we all want you to succeed. thank you for trusting us with your life.

  25. you look so young!!! it is worth the work, right!!!? when I get discouraged, I go shopping and remember how hard it used to be to look at myself in the mirror. now I can smile and say thanks - to me and my band for all the hard work we have done!!!
