I'm back and I have a question?
So I haven't checked in for a while. Probably because of the shame I have been feeling. I haven't been doing so well lately. I have had 2 fills but still have some bad habits. My health has been pretty crappy lately. I started having these strange symptoms about 4 weeks ago, long story short I was diagnosed with Cold Urticaria. And with this CU I have developed horrible headaches. I am miserable. CU is basically an allergy to the cold I break out in hives and living in Idaho where our winters can last up to 9 months sucks! The Doctors are clueless looking for everything from an infection to cancer. So far the only thing they have found is that my thyroid medicine is not strong enough. Has any one had something this weird happen to them after getting their band?

Eat And Drink And No Issues
I know what you mean i have very good intentions to not drink with my meal and sometimes i just forget or drink without thinking. I too don't have any problems. So i invests in an egg timer. I set it after i get done eating and put it some where obvious. That way it helps me to remember. It has helped a lot.

Anyone Going To The Bathroom Alot???
I did. I went threw not going at all to always in the bathroom. My Dr put it simple.... Your colon is re learning how to work. It will get better it has gone from too much food and bowls being forced out fRom too much food. To no food at all than high protein food. It's a lot to go through your colon is healing too.

Am I Being Bad?
My biggest problem is saying well I'll JUST START over tomorrow pre op diet is very important because yes you are shrinking your liver but this is the time to prepare your body you wont have another chance to try and prepare I've often thought the pre op diet isn't enough time. You need to want this. I cleaned out my fridge and mh cupboards to help keep from the temptation. you should do it too. Good luck remember this is a new life. It will get easier i promise

I Got My First Fill Yesterday
wow what an experience. that was so weird! he put 5cc in my 14cc band. i go back in 5 weeks for another one. i am about 7 weeks post op and even though i haven't lost as much weight as i would hope i thought i'd update you on my other accomplishments.....okay so far i have gone from a 26 pants to a 18-20! i have gone from a 46D to a 40D! i've lost 6 inches in my chest 9 inches in my stomach and 7 inches in my hips! holy freaking crap! I am so happy. and so glad i stopped obsessing over my scale and started measuring. And i might add that i haven't done much exercising. i just had my restrictions lifted. and walking throws my hips out. and more and more people have started to notice I AM SHRINKING!

Looking For Some Information
drinking once in a while is okay. however you wouldn't want to have more than one really. why would you? all those empty calories. And having the band could make you a "light weight" I still haven't figured out how the band can effect that. but drinking is something you want to be careful with. your still young i would wait. I am 33 years old and have had a partial hysterectomy after my third child was born. I have been bigger most of my life weighing happily around 215. And then i started having health problems i was sick because i was over weight and over weight because i was sick. my medicare insurance paid for my full surgery i am on SSDI for being bipolar and suffering from depression. my anti-depressants caused me to gain 70 lbs. and because the weight was chemically induced i couldn't get rid of it. it seemed the harder i tried to loose weight the more weight i gained! that's when i decided to have lap-band surgery. I am 6 weeks post op today. i go in for my first fill next week. I am happy with my choice and my progress but i am glad i waited till this time in my life. LB is a whole new life. it's not just time before and after surgery.
