Im 21 ill be getting the lap band in 6 days!

I had just turned 35, so my present to myself was surgery two days later on Feb 3, 2009 :biggrin:

I too wish they had this type of tool in my 20's, but I believe there are reasons for everything so my journey started when it should have :wink2:

22. I had it done so I wouldn't have to deal with health issues later on in life.

like drew i was banded at 22 to try and head off some issues that were likely to arise in the future

I was banded 4/22 and I was/am 26!

Well I COULD have had the band done 6 days before my 21st so I would of been 20 but they screwed me around and I was 21 lol. But I didn't really care as long as I got it done =)

Well I am 28 and I getting banded on July 29, 2009. I am so excited but nervous too. I know it will be great.

25 and banded july 22, woooo!

I got banded 2 monthes before my 27th birthday and just turned 28, I'm getting old. :thumbup: High school reunion next month.

I am 24 and im getting my band in one month with dr. aceves in mexico.

I am 24 ...I was banded 2 days after my 24th birthday (DOB 5 May, Banded 7 May)...my specialist purposely did this to allow me my "last supper" LOL

I was 48 but I wish I could have had it done in my twenties and maybe it would be easier to firm up!!!

24 i was banded 6/10/09

I am 21 and just got the lap band...hopefully it is the best decision of my life..

I am getting banded on Aug 11 a week after my 22nd Birthday!

I'm 21 years old and I'll be getting banded on august 11th : )
