I didn’t find it necessary but It could help if you struggle taking small bites. Im Pretty sure they have them at dollar tree.

Same here. Didn't bother and didn't need to, but for some folks it may be useful.

I personally didn't feel like I needed help with my bites as much as making sure I chew thoroughly & slowly in between.

If you are thinking about buy smaller spoons why not just use teaspoons.

I didn't buy anything to help with bite size or portion size, and I wouldn't have used them even if I did because I was really restricted post op. Less so now of course. I was eating food that covered the tip of a teaspoon initially, and then progressed to filling that up more. Nothing wrong with baby spoons though if that focuses the mind - it's all about that. Best of luck on your journey 🤩

If the thought of “baby spoons” makes you feel silly then check out demitasse spoons. They’re meant for espresso but I eat off them regularly as I find regular sized spoons cumbersome and awkward.

Quite a common suggestion. I personally just used teaspoons & then cocktail forks (sporks). They do help you keep your bites small.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
