No regrets whatsoever! I’m just almost 2 weeks post op. I’ve stopped taking many medications and lost about 20 pounds.

My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner!

WLS has changed my life and the lives of my family, as I'm a better mother and wife as a result of being healthy!

I am on day 9 post op. I hate everything lol. Had to stay in hospital for 5 days so just starting over on the clear liquids. I'm tired of liquids. I feel hungry at times. I want food at times. Haven't weighed myself. Go for my first follow-up Monday.

I had to stay in hospital 6 days as I had problems with nausea and vomiting. It was caused by swelling and took a few months to settle. I had a huge struggle to get the right dose of medication as well. That took about 6 months.

At bit like giving birth, I have forgot the worst parts of this and am overjoyed with the surgery. I hope you get to this place too and see the satisfaction I have found

So far my only regret is not trying Indian food before I got my surgery lol. Ive been seeing so many tiktoks w indian food & it looks incredible haha. Other than that, 0 regrets!

I'm six days post-op, and I don't think I regret it. The day I was dismissed from the hospital, they stopped my blood pressure and diabetic medications. That's huge! But since then, my sugar has been low, and my pressure has been low once or twice, which is weird. I'm just wondering if all my problems will reverse or if my body is trying to find my new homeostasis.

I've been on liquids only for nearly a month now, and that's getting old. But no soreness, and I didn't experience any gas pain at all, even in the hospital, probably due to my unique circumstances. I've had a bit of trouble sleeping and have been a bit lightheaded.

Lastly, I thought getting in protein would be a breeze, but in reality, it's far more challenging than I thought. I never knew how much I truly disliked protein shakes until I had to drink 3-5 daily for 30 days. I look forward to eating again, even if it is mush. Anything not sweet, anything I can use my jaws on, LOL ?.

Liquid Diet Weight Loss: -27 lbs (2 weeks) and Post Surgery Weight Loss: -4 lbs (4 days)

I am moving to regular food off off soft. I've tried garlic chicken mushroom pizza. Scraping it off the crust, measuring it to 1/3-1/2 cup. Just tried curry chicken, no rice...1/3 c chicken add curry sauce to 1/2 c total. I'm going to Indian buffet for lunch next week. No nan-bread. Plan on mostly meat and sauce add veggies, little potato. Seasonings warm like medium taco sauce is okay. I will eat my portion and take home the rest, probably 3 more meals.

I so welvomed puree stage for more spices, 1/4 cup pureed chicken curry salad, meatloaf with a little mash.potato and.ketchup, can turkey chili... Didn't use my teeth until soft food, eggs. Cottage cheese, now Jenni ground turkey taco or Italian seasoned.
