7DPO! Still can’t believe this is my body! Took a new pic! Flanks are still pretty swollen, but the rest of the swelling has gone down a lot!

@ChubRub: are you still in florida?

Yes! I'm pretty much a snowbird this year, thanks to Covid (working from home and virtual schooling for the kids)!!

That's awesome. You get to spend a crappy Covid winter in a warm place! Are you there for the long haul?

Will likely stay through Easter. It's going to be in the 80s this weekend. Hard to go back to the cold! Plus warm weather will make is easier to wear skimpy clothes and show off my body! ha ha ha! Not that I go anywhere!!

Did the recliner for the first week and it worked great. Moved back into my bed 2 nights ago. My breasts are tender so I have to be careful if I try to sleep on my side. Best part is that I don't wake up 10 times a night to use the bathroom anymore, so I'm actually getting a great night's sleep!!

I’m jealous! I tried my bed (sleeping in my side)but my Tummy Tuck incision kinda started to sting after about an hour. I was afraid I was putting too much pressure on it so moved back to the recliner. 😔

I'm definitely in the recliner during the day!! Maybe try sleeping on your back with pillows under your knees? I'm still trying to figure out the perfect position for bed sleeping!

even non surgery I cant find that! I had a tough time with position, I mainly ended up on my back with pillows under my head and propping up my lower legs as much as I could while shifting my hips to take some pressure off and sometimes shoving something either rolled up towel or small pillow to try to take some pressure off my backside. I could not get comfortable sleeping on my side with the implants and read its best to sleep on your back awhile so they settle in place. Even now I find myself on my back when normally I sleep on one side or the other. Though honestly I just naturally toss and turn a lot so post surgery being stuck in one position was tough. The fact that you are getting good sleep is excellent. You do want to sleep in bed with your head elevated somewhat with pillows it has to do with the implants settling into position. I had so many areas tugging against eachother It made it a challenge to sleep especially after my T incision on my thigh lift opened ... I had to let it air out and dry sans Faja for a little while then secondary wound healing. but now its as if that didnt happen ...

honestly its just about time and patience.

I just read that a few times because that is the month I had my gastric bypass surgery ... around Easter I was in a bad place my birthday was coming around and the weight was piling on despite every effort to fight it ... I did not think the surgery was going to happen I found out a week before it was scheduled April 29th 2019 and now I cannot believe April this year will be two years???

Has it already been eight months since I had plastics? I am not good with tracking time ... June 14 2020.

I still have not worn a swimsuit officially but with the whole Covid thing I havent gone to the pool here and I have chemical sensitivities and not sure I wanted to risk my sensitive skin with chlorine ... I wish they would do salt Water pools but they would never convert them ... they are shared pools per condo association. My Mom goes swimming as often as is possible.

sorry your post got me thinking (thats dangerous!) probably for the best not to be too active right now. and thankfully the humidity is not too bad right now. took a while for me to be able to venture out for a walk around the nature preserves I love.

Thanks for the sleeping tips! I'm propping my head/upper torso up with pillows, and also have a pillow under my knees. My own version of a craftmatic adjustable bed! LOL!!

I'm in Naples!

It has hit me today, as I sit in my chair at work that I don't have my belly sticking out to where it would hit the desk. Oh and I can cross my legs more comfortably. It amazes me just how much I have loss in inches vs actual pounds, I have lost 24 lbs all together. But I believe in inches all over about 3 inches. I am noticing more energy and have pep to my step. My skin is a lot clearer. My watch band is shorter by 3 notches. the little things are what I am noticing. When I bend over I don't feel out of breath or I am going to fall over ( weeble wobble).
I am having a hard time with my sweet tooth, it is very hard to not want to get some ice cream or chocolate. Candy I can do without. I have no craving really for that, just chocolate and ice cream. I have gone as far as taking Popsicle and putting them in my mixer with almond milk and making like ice cream with that/ sometimes I have added un-flavored protein powder.
I feel better everyday. The energy is great to have with having younger kids and being able to have the energy to keep up. 😃

If anyone has any advice on how to make your stomach feel better after you eat something you shouldn't have or at too fast, I would GREATLY appreciate it!! It's painful on both sides of my abdomen (like to the point I'm doubled over and using a hot water bottle in addition to medicine) and I'm really nauseous (the thought or smell of food is 🤢).
