19. My PhD. Took me long enough (the better part of eight years) but now I can answer when the airline pilot asks if there's a doctor on board. 🤣
20. My bamboo sheets. Oh my gosh, if you've never slept in bamboo sheets they are INCREDIBLE

Awwwww good morning to you too gorgeous (to be fair, it's evening where I'm sitting). Don't you wish we had Star Trek transporters so we could beam over for a visit and a cuppa.

20) one small thing that brings you joy - Nature. It doesn’t matter if it’s a beautiful sunrise or sunset, the birds chirping , seeing deer in our yard. All of it just makes me happy
21) balance - to get exercise in more consistently. I get at least 3 days a week but I know I can do better

20. It still is cold in Ohio, even though we now are officially into Springtime. God made up for it by sending some spectacular sunsets recently, and I bet they're even more so in Heaven on the other side!

March 20 & 21:

One small joyful area is finding small pockets of bliss and sanctuary in this crazy world.

I could always use more balance with trying to make sure i get enough sleep. I do not. Busted...

This is hard-- I have been lax some days about commenting and instead obsessing over other stuff...so that is my 21. I need to not obsess over things that are not in my control and just take it as it comes...day by day :)

21. More balance...I would say I could use more balance between work and play. Work seems to be a little much these days.

B-side - fun childhood outdoor activity - Riding! Horseback riding! But, I always loved being outside and I still do.

Oh yes, savasana and warrior for yoga today.

I'm doing really well this month despite stall when I was crook. I'm sooooo close to making my March goal!
21. I could do with more balance in my sleep. Its either too much or too little. My circadian rhythm is pretty skewiff.
22. Biggest victory so far has to be losing over 32 kilos so far with my surgery. I never believed it was possible that this could actually work, and every day I wake up smiling b/c of it!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
