B-Side Question:
What was you favorite childhood outside activity/game?
I remember living for hide & go seek and Tag!
Ahhh to be young again...
So so many. I grew up on a farm so my brother and I used to amuse ourselves all the time. We used to climb the hay bales and look for baby mice. That was great fun.

22. My greatest victory is probably moving to NYC almost twelve years ago and not only surviving but thriving in the city.

B Side: Outside I loved playing SPUD, What Time is It Mr Fox, and 500.

Inside I loved my dollhouse, barbies, and American Girl Doll.

#22) my biggest victory so far would be to quit smoking 8 years ago. At the time my husband and grown daughter who lives with us both still smoked (since both have quit 🙌🏻) so it forced me to be a lot more diligent. I think it prepared me for my wls journey because my family doesn’t have weight issues. They eat healthy meals but also have all the traditional Snacks as well as my mom who I care for. Someone help the person who gets in between her and her Wavy Lays 😂😂😂

Aw, I missed this entirely. lol. Biggest victory in my entire LIFE? I would say purchasing my own home at 26 after struggling to find work for 3 years. It was a very victorious moment. Biggest victory since WLS? Not eating Taco Bell in 5 months. lolol truuuuue facts.

23) an untruthful story I tell myself? I guess I’m going to have to give this one some thought. I really do try to nail myself with any bs or negative thinking but also not get into a place where I’m complacent or think I’ve got it all figured out. 🤷🏻‍♀️

23. An untruthful story. At my age and in my particular line of work and all the work I've done on myself...any untruthful story I tell myself would have to be buried pretty deep to still exist. I'm not saying it doesn't but it's not a conscious story. Lately though, I've been wondering how I came to some of my decisions when I was younger...of course, the stupid ones...but what on Earth led me to believe those were good choices?

23 That I am a failure in all facets of my life, I believed that, even bought into it, it is so untrue. I am a beautiful Child of a King, I should be walking it, talking it, and not acting like a grubby little serf. I am Frustr8 and that is doggone cool to be! Do I hear an AMEN?

An untruthful story I often tell myself: I don't have any willpower. At least that was what I told myself before WLS. It's amazing how I thought not losing weight was all my fault and I'd I could have just applied more willpower. Magically, I seem to have it in spades now, oh you mean it wasn't my *fault* I couldn't lose weight until I had a bypass?

March 22, 23, 24:

Biggest victory in life this far... IDK i would like to say all the little ones add up and being resilient enough to stay on my personal path although it has been laced with small scenes of disaster.

An untrue story i tell myself is that thete are already doors closed to me that i can never open. Truth is i have never tried yet. It may still be ultimately true, but its a lazy way to look at life.

I want to contribute encouragement, joy, peace and raise my children to be valuable members of humanity in the most meaningful ways.

OMG YESTERDAY'S YOGA POSE WAS HARD 😳

Those are amazing goals!
I just want to be healthy enough to enjoy it. I’ve said before how much I love nature so to be able to camp, hike, fish with my husband all sound perfect to me

#24) to have left my children and grand children in a place to carry on giving, living and loving every aspect of their lives and to be strong enough to face the storms they will face.

24. To have made a difference for the positive that helps make the world a better place.

B side. I'm working on it. I love my work now and expect to continue after I'm officially retired. I live by the sea which has also been part of my plan. I think having more time for creativity would float my boat.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
