Protein shakes for picky protein drinkers

I’m hella picky my husband hates it and I got off protein shakes for awhile but I need to get back on them. Best milk chocolate protein that aren’t gritty for picky butts like my self?I’m also juicing! I’m losing weight still but I’ve got to get better.

  • I drink combat milk chocolate. I don't feel it's gritty at all.

  • In my smoothie I put ice cubes the combat protein and I throw in an Atkins chocolate shake for the liquid. I think that's 40 g of protein

  • I really like Muscle Milk Pro Series " Knockout Chocolate" and Premier Protein Chocolate

I will definitely try it!!

I use powdered proteins and use a blender or bullet to make them. I also add ice and sometimes bananas and/or spinach. Blending it removes any chance of there being a gritty taste and the ice makes it feel like a milkshake.

Good luck on your weight loss.

Premier!

The best ive tried so far

Animal source : Isopure chocolate flavor (powder)

Plant source: EAS Carb control dutch/rich chocolate (ready to drink)

The Atkins Plus Protein and Fiber chocolate shake is incredible. It tastes just ike chocolate milk.

I'm going to second the Isopure, they even have a natural chocolate version, they are very tasty.
Muscle Milk is really good, but you need to watch the calories and sugars in some versions, just read labels.

Gold Standard makes some great flavors as well.

My doc and nut said to stay away from Milk Protein products and protein blends. Only use pure whey protein. I like Isopure PB chocolate

You realize that Whey *is* from Cow's Milk right?

Yes, absolutely, but there must be a difference in the Protein processing and affect.... I cant imagine they would tell us this for no reason.

You'd be surprised. Just because someone is a doctor, doesn't mean they are correct.
*ALL* Whey is sourced from Cow Milk. Whey concentrate and Whey Isolate are processed differently and Isolate is a much more pure form of the protein and has most (if not all) lactose removed from it. But, it's all still sourced from the exact same location. The statement of staying away from milk protein, but use whey, is just an incorrect statement from start to finish, that's like saying, Stay away from H2O, make sure to drink DiHydrogen Monoxide. They are the same thing.
