Confessional - Lets post our cheats/confessions/etc so others can see that we are all human
1 month Surgiversary today and my sons 30th bday. Down 28lbs! Today I cheated, I had 2 slices of thin crust pizza but didn't eat the stuffed crust and said no to the sinful cheesecake. That plus my scrambled eggs for breakfast, 1/2 a lemon protein bar and SF pudding cup is what I've had today. Stuffed and paying for it. Back on my grind tomorrow! Am I weird or is it just me
Don't get me wrong, I'm happy!!! Just have seen people post that have lost 27 to 30 (starting weight similar to mine)in 2 wks vs 4. Just makes me question is something different? Maybe it's my age (many are younger that i see with those results) 'll take any loss tho. I know it's not a rapid process to the goal. :-)

Am I weird or is it just me
I guess I'm very lucky to have not experienced all of the physical struggles with nausea and food rejection. Don't get me wrong, I'm super thankful and am pleased with my current weight loss! I just need to focus on my loss and noy compare. It really hits home when I see that my clothes are falling off! Going to have to purchase some new work clothes soon. I'd hate to be walking into work and find them down around my ankles!![emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Protein shakes for picky protein drinkers
Yes, absolutely, but there must be a difference in the protein processing and affect.... I cant imagine they would tell us this for no reason.

My doc and nut said to stay away from Milk Protein products and protein blends. Only use pure whey protein. I like Isopure PB Chocolate

Am I weird or is it just me
I've read about people having food rejection, bad taste buds and nausea and thankfully I haven't experienced it. Tomorrow will be my one month surgiversary and I'm 27 lbs down since surgery and 52 lbs total lost since first appt with surgeon. I feel like I'm not losing like I should and keep telling myself not to compare, but I can't help but wonder if my sleeve isn't small enough. I did, however, find myself ill the other day because I ate a small sweet potato too fast. Bad habit from eating lunch at my desk. I'm 53 and determined to be 150lbs on my 5'8 frame by my 54th birthday Oct 2019 ....I just need to slow down my anxiousness and let the process work. Only 110 to go...

2nd Week post op
I was sleeved 8/1. I started pureed on the 11th. Saw my surgeon yesterday. I told him in the Morning I scramble an egg with a tiny bit of cheese and then add 3 Small dinner spoons of Low fat cottage cheese . I eat half for Breakfast and then the other half at lunch. Throughout the day I'll have a few sugar free popsicles maybe one sugar free pudding and then in the evening if I'm hungry about 4 spoons of refried Beans. He told me I'm eating too much

It is normal to feel concerned. However, these operations have advanced so much that 1000's are performed weekly. Trust you surgeon and surgery team. They will take great care of you. This is the beginning of a healthier you! Be excited!!

Post op itching
Hi all! 1 week post op, 10lbs down and started itching all over my stomach last night. Sent pics of incisions to PA this morning who said all looks great. Probably nerve endings healing. Anyone else experience this?
