You will get there! Honestly the first week is pure hell. I had what others would call an “easy” recovery but man it still sucked.

I’m on my 2nd week tried cream of mushroom soup didn’t sit well made me so gassy had to stop eating it.

I am at the puréed stage, 2 tbsp of egg salad, on oven bake small cracker

1tbsp of fruit,, I could not eat it all but got sick? Is this normal? They say take 30 minutes to eat which I tried but got sick with in the first 20 min

I was sleeved on 7/31. I have been eating egg drop soup, creamy potatoe soup, very creamy tuna salad, creamy crab dip (made with imitation crab meat, ff cottage cheese, ff cream cheese, olive oil mayo, garlic powder, and a bit of horseradish). I've also had scrambled eggs with cottage cheese, sf popsicles, and mashed cauliflower.

I've been drinking 2 premier shakes each day and trying to get my 64 oz of water.

Yeah I will hold off on that, my puréed page from doctor said crackers are ok just chew to paste. I don’t know have been sick all day, will stick to liquids tomorrow and try again. Thanks

That, like many things in life is d**** if you do d***** if you don't, my mind says potential slider item, but,,in reality it's worth the potential risk!?

@ttj3mom - too soon for fruit or crackers...

Try lots of bone broth with cooked carrot or sweet potato, white beans and tiny amount of chicken pureed in blender, little spoon, eat slowly. Wait in between bites.

I've always made my protein shakes with powdered whey protein. 2nd week I would make my shake with low fat Greek yogurt. If you use pre-made shakes you can do the same with those. I just didn't like the fake sugar taste of what I tried so prefer to make my own and adjust the taste with water.

Hi, I also had my sleeve done on 8/6 I saw my doctor yesterday and only lost 7lbs I have 2 shakes a day and water I also have broth, Jello & popsicles. I wonder if my body is in starvation mode. I hear you about the veggies. I have baby carrots in the fridge I want one!

I was sleeved 8/6 also drinking 2 shakes, water, broth but I feel hungry, I was contemplating egg drop soup but I am on just liquid untill the 27th.

Maybe pick up some flavorless protein powder and add it to your broth. Extra protein and will fill you up for a portion of the day. Or drink protein waters, I used Protein2O. SF jello and SF ice pops were a life saver as well. Good luck to you.
