  5. I don't think anyone knows I've lost 50+ lbs total or 40+ lbs since surgery. I feel my clothes fitting so much better. I have more energy. I feel better. It will be interesting to see how much I have to lose for the people that see me every day to notice. Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
  6. Surgery was 1/15/19. I find I do get hungry but hard to know if it's my eyes or my stomach. I'm getting in my fluids and protein. I'm down 40 lbs so far. My knees & back hurt much less. Slow and steady wins the race so I'm just trudging along. I can say that I am following my food plan to the t. Although I have eaten 2 French fries but that's it. I hope all my January friends are doing good. Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app

  8. You will be sore for a bit. O had surgery on 1/15/19 and back to my desk job on 1/21/19. Even though it's a desk job, it forced me to get up and walk around. Which I needed. I'm just starting feeling hungry. I'm averaging about 800 calories a day and about 80 grams of protein. Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app

  18. I felt the same way. I wanted to lick it. I just tried to ignore it and eventually the burger was eaten by him and gone. Everything he makes or buys for dinner smells so good. Right now it's in my head but today I felt me stomach growl for the first time since surgery on the 15th. Monday I start puree/soft. I hope it helps to satisfy my head hunger Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app

  20. First night was rough. I was soooooo thirsty and not allowed to drink more than 2 oz in 1 hour. Each day I got better. Today was my first day back at work. I'm still on clear which sucks. I was just allowed to try 1 oz of protein shake to see how it goes. I've done 2 oz and so far so good. It was nice to get a different flavor. I'm sick of sweet sugar free jello and ice pops. Due to the holiday today, my follow up dr appt was moved to Wednesday. At that point I will be able to move to the next food phase which I'm excited about. I've been in clear over a week. You will do great, dont worry. I tried my hardest not to he nervous but at the hospital before surgery my BP was 188/95. Thankfully its gone down. Please try to sleep when you are tired so that you will have the energy to walk walk walk . Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
