Yes I got a call back from the nurse and she asked me several question and seemed to think it was mostly Fluid and not to worry. She scheduled me to come in for a check up in 2 days. I feel fine I just completely freaked out when I saw that on the scale. I stepped off reset and kept getting the same number. It was really scary.
Thank you for checking up on me. I hope you are doing well.

Don't start out trying to eat🐎 right away! Start with donkeys or Wesh ponies and work your way up. Seriously don't overtax your internal incisions, you are dtill, healing and will be for quite a while. An exploding stomach,is corting a fatal outcome. Please go very slow and follow your bariatric plan closely, it's set up that way to protect you.

@macadamia, Quaker Oats has an instant oatmeal that is labeled "weight control" - I think it's really just less sugar. But some of the flavors are tasty.

I’m trying so hard not to weigh myself. Lol
GOOD JOB on the weight loss everyone!

I admire your willpower. I got on the scale today and it didn't budge from yesterday. It reminded me that I really need to just step back and let my body do the healing and the weight will shed on it's own. My goal now is to stay away from it until Sunday. Crossing fingers I can keep my own challenge.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
