Hey, I’m July 25th. Mine was July 11th and got pushed back. So I’m just trying to keep busy for two weeks, then pre-op diet.

I hear you. I’ve been eating anything I had a craving for while I could but starting 7/5 I’m going to start eating healthier and 7/11 I’ll start preop diet. I’m definitely excited. Good luck to both of us

July 23rd!!!!

My surgery is July 9. Getting closer and I am a little anxious but also excited!

Waiting on approval. Wish they got approval first

July 30th! 27 days and counting! Pre-admission on the 9th, liquid diet start on the 16th. So ready for this. I feel like its my wedding day. Anxious and nervous at the same time and sort of a dream like daze counting down to my reality.

Hola Bari-Siblings! Ohio State has a 8 stage plan for my Bariatric future, I am now at Step 6-meet with BARIATRIC surgeon, in my case Bradley Needleman MD, have him tell me the length of my presurgical liquid liver shrinking diet, 1 week,2 week(usual) or shudder an entire month. 1 month usually reserved for BMI greater than 51. One nurse awarded 47.3 other supposedly equivalent RN said I had shortened and gave me 50.15, who's right? I vote for the lower, but like my vote on National Election Day- meh. Insurance is okay, at this point they say " Will you just operate, already? We're tired of this dragging on so long!" So Dr Needleman, Estimated Date of Surgery, and then Glory Glory? It is finally REBIRTHDAY for me me me!??????

Hi, I’m new to the forums! I’ll be having surgery on July 26th at NYU Langone. I’m looking forward to hearing about every bodies experiences.

Hi all! I just joined this, I’m having my surgery July 23, not looking forward to the 7 day pre op liquid diet but I’m learning it could be worse & I could have to do it for longer. Looking forward to speaking with all of you, we can do this!

July 17th here! Today is day 1 of my pre-op liquid diet. So far so good but I can see how I’ll be sick of protein shakes pretty soon ?
