Is anyone else having surgery in July?

Well great for you. It is a brave and a tough decision to make to get surgery. Getting healthy is great for everyone at every age

Im not so young hahah. I just turned 28 on june 9. So you beat me to it. One of my friends that got it she is 22.

I think that its good having it done younger because I believe that a younger person is healthier than someone older because maybe not all have other health issues. (not saying young people dont) but i think its not that common.

I agree it’s easier on younger people. I’ve been thinking about it since I was 18, maybe even before. I finished all of my requirements over a year ago and was supposed to have the surgery last year but I chickened out. I’m glad I’m finally going through with it this summer. I’m nervous to go back to college in August though since I’m not having surgery until July and my college is 12 hours away from home.

Anyone is entitled to getting the surgery as long as the doctors approves of it and if its something that you really want. Because have this surgery its like being reborn all over again.. It will be a journey

I am also 21 just turned june 4th, my surgery is a gastric bypass on july 25, I had the sleeve done when I was 13. Here I am once again hopefully this time around EVERYTHING DROPS ?

congrats on deciding to doing it again. You will do great just have that positive mind set that you got this.

@emkaybee21 you are not young, and at 72 I am not too old. We have to seek our own kind of healthy and I am proud to share this July Journey with you!
