Awww thanks Hun, just take it one day at a time. Hun you may fall down but get right back up. I know that’s all we truly can do
  3. Hey y’all I know it’s been a while. I had my surgery 7/27/18 heaviest 310, SW 280, CW 212 m, GW 160/170....pants size varies on style from 10-14.... I’m still pushing... I’ve had a few bouts with constipation but I’m getting better with stool softer n Probiotics which helps on top of lots of water.... I don’t go over 30 carbs per meal n 20 carbs per snacks. I don’t eat Bread, Rice, Pasta, potatoes, no pop, once n blue moon when Period hits I crave chocolate but I sub with sugar free chocolate pudding. It feels good to lose n see the progress n pictures. I’m trying to get into journaling Period not just about food.
  4. I’m doing find eating stage two soft foods one week now on that got to eat that stage for 4 weeks. Dumped one time and no vomiting. Take my vitamins and try my best to get my fluids and protein in. Thanks for asking hru
  5. I’m so glad to hear @Poppygirl that you’re doing well. Yeah I’ve been passing loud gas lol and burping and walking unfortunately had to go out two days which was Sunday and Tuesday for groceries but I’m doing better. I’m just trying to get all my vitamins in and my medicine that fights against gallstones... I also have to take my blood thinner for 14 days and so far so good... I ordered a scales can’t wait til it come tomorrow and see how much I’ve lost. I left Hospital on purée food stage for two weeks and then I go for my first check up next Tuesday
  6. Well I had my surgery 7/27 7:30am and it lasted 2 hrs. I actually didn’t have to have my hernia repaired wasn’t that bad to be touched. I tolerated liquids once I woke up from surgery, no vomiting. Th next day while in Hospital I had purée stage and I measured my food by medicine cups (1oz), I sipped my liquids. I was able to go home Saturday 7/28 @9pm. I came home was able to lay on my sides or back not my stomach. Day 2 post-op I was able to tolerate scrambled egg 2oz, sipped water after 30mins.. I took my blood thinner injection and my gallbladder medicine so it won’t get gallstones...I took my anti acid, I took my vitamins spaced them out a few hours apart. I’m ao proud of myself I’m trying to pace myself Ms not so too much at too lil time. I hope anyone else who had hgastric Bypass is doing well also... I pray that as long as I continue to follow the Dr orders I be ok. And yes just Becuz your ouch will allow u I eat more doesn’t mean that you should... this is a tool have self control.

  8. I’m in Chicago also I can’t gain anymore weight. I started this process in March n maintained my weight until Monday 4 months later.
  9. I started my pre-op diet Monday which is low carb & high protein... I just do liquid the day before the surgery. It’s scheduled for 7:30am n be at Hospital by 5:30am
