Well I had my surgery 7/27 7:30am and it lasted 2 hrs. I actually didn’t have to have my hernia repaired wasn’t that bad to be touched. I tolerated liquids once I woke up from surgery, no vomiting. Th next day while in Hospital I had purée stage and I measured my food by medicine cups (1oz), I sipped my liquids. I was able to go home Saturday 7/28 @9pm. I came home was able to lay on my sides or back not my stomach. Day 2 post-op I was able to tolerate scrambled egg 2oz, sipped water after 30mins.. I took my blood thinner injection and my gallbladder medicine so it won’t get gallstones...I took my anti acid, I took my vitamins spaced them out a few hours apart. I’m ao proud of myself I’m trying to pace myself Ms not so too much at too lil time. I hope anyone else who had hgastric Bypass is doing well also... I pray that as long as I continue to follow the Dr orders I be ok. And yes just Becuz your ouch will allow u I eat more doesn’t mean that you should... this is a tool have self control.

Sounds like you've got this fully under control! Keep that mindset when you start to potentially get a little depressed or when you start to hit the stalls. Just stay focused and in control and understand that... these things will happen, but will pass.
