Yes you are NORMAL! No matter how hard you study, plan and want something there is a little bit of unknown still there[emoji37]You would not be human if you didn't have ambivalent feelings the DAY before. Totally normal and justified. It’s an exciting and brave move, so be emotional because you just made huge decision that will better your life. Emotional is good.

Hope all went well and that your on your way to a speedy recovery....

I am 5 days out of my surgery and down -14lbs drink slowly and move slowly be strong and stick to the diet. Don't listen to your brain lol listen to your new stomach and stay focused.

MY urgery was this morning. I am in ICU and all went well. They had to remove the band and do the sleeve. I'm feeling pretty good so far. I would describe it as the kind of pain you would feel from doing way way too many sit-ups. They are telling me I will be here till Thursday.

Thanks BostonWLKC. I have been super sleepy from the meds. They want me up in a couple hours to do the barium swallow and x-ray. Then I will be walking all day
