Any March 2018 Sleevers?

What is everyone doing to prepare for post op? Are you pureeing food and freezing it? I was told to puree approved food and store it in ice cube trays in the freezer- since that's the correct portion size...

Thoughts?

I don't actually do purees -- I go from Protein Shakes to Protein shakes+soft food to soft foods to regular foods.

I have a few homemade stocks frozen but I didn't want to do a bunch of freezing in case my stomach couldn't handle some of the items I froze. Some other sleevers have said that their tastes change a lot after the surgery so I didn't want to spend a lot of time making things that I wouldn't eat.

March 6 here!! Starting preop diet today. I am more nervous about that than I am the surgery...

Snap! I'm March 6th also. I'm 3 days into my 16 day preop diet, which is 14 days on Protein Shakes + meat/veggies. I'm finding it ok during the day, but a bit tougher in the evenings.

I'm doing terrible on this two week liquid diet. Seriously. It's so hard not eating. I'm so sick of shakes, I've never liked Jello or popsicles, and with a limit of one bouillon cube a day it's rough!! I'm forcing myself to eat the jello, but the days are just dragging by so slowly. I don't know how I'm gonna get through the next 8 days!!

The first day or so was tough, just getting the routine going and getting used to drinking all of the Water also.

I'm good with the Water. Of course, I spend more time in the bathroom than I do anything but the water isn't hard for me. I just feel awful, still, on day 6. At no point has this been easy, or easier. I keep waiting to get to that point.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
