I’ve got a date of 1/16!!! So excited, but I’ll be happier once I see the paperwork from the insurance!!

Me too! I was the third but they rescheduled because of the weather.

I'm so glad to hear that everyone is going good! Mine is on the 10th, and I'm so nervous about surgery and everything after surgery!

You will do great! after the initial discomfort, you will feel stronger each passing day. I had sleeve on 3rd and realized today I needed to set timer for sips of Protein and Water or I would not get enough of either. 15 mins between sips, and I am finally finishing one 8 oz shake and had plenty of water. Good luck😇😇😇

First few days I tot I was back to normal and drank like normal...big mistake...I got the foamies after that. Terrible vomiting. Now I am just sipping for the whole day. Hopefully no more foamies.

I'm sure this feeling will pass, so please take it with a grain of salt, but post op day 4 and I am having major regrets. I can't even drink a full bottle of Water in a day, and if i see one more food ad, I'm gonna scream. Feeling like i should have tried harder at dieting. Just waiting for the feeling to pass. This is normal, right?

Help me guys! I am due for my surgery next Tuesday the 16th, but I have blown my pre-op diet three different times. I think it’s because I have not gotten approval yet from my health insurance company, I just don’t think it’s real! I know I should just do what they say, beyond liquids for two weeks just in case, but I’m having a really hard time! Help me out give a girl a hand and prayer and any advice you have!

So I go in for surgery on the 10th. My insurance company approved me for on day inpatient stay and said this is the average stay for gastric bypass. How long were you in the hospital?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
