Feeling discouraged

Recommended Posts

Stalls are inevitable. Hang in there. To get my liquids and my Protein in I'll drink 1 to 2 premier Protein shakes a day. U can get them at costco and Walmart. Each shake has 30g of Protein and its 11oz of liquid. Crystal light has also helped me get in more liquids when I'm just not feeling like plain Water. To keep motivated use one of those apps on your phone that lets you put your before and after pics side by side. That way u can see how far Uve come. 65 lbs is a lot to be proud of!! Keep it up! I know u can do it!!

I have my Vitamins on top of my dresser at eye level in the morning.

This is my advice:

Get your Protein in

Get your fluids in

Take all your Vitamins

You know what you are doing wrong. Only you can change it. Best of luck.

You need to see your nutritionist and attend some support groups. It seems like some thing is very wrong.

Shicks, you need after care. With your surgeon's office or your family doctor can order bloodwork that checks for Vitamin levels. That bloodwork will show what you are low in and what you need to supplement with.

Talk to a doc!

I think I've been really depressed lately, and it's been affecting my progress. I did manage to talk to my doctor today, they gave me advice on taking the Vitamins. Now using a reminder app for my pills. Also made appointment with my therapist for Monday, and Thursday I see my surgeon in KC. Waiting for a call from my psychiatrist for an appointment with him. My dad has had the sleeve, we're going to start going to a support group next month. Thanks for the advice and support, I just needed to reach out.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
