I have not been much of a TV watcher, but being on leave from surgery I am watching much more. Holy crap, COULD THERE BE ANY MORE food COMMERCIALS ON TV! It's maddening for head hunger. I want everything on the tv, even stuff I know I would never eat. I might have to resort to Netflix or streaming on demand.

rant over now, lol

oh my gosh its the worst ever! I remember when I was just a week out from surgery, still on the liquid/soft diet and I went to the gas station to fill my car. On the billboard was a picture of this nasty gas station cheeseburger and I would have eaten that damn cardboard sign if my husband would have let me! Holy cow, head hunger is real and a HORRIBLE thing! lol

Good luck!!!! :)

I don't watch the commercials. Somehow I just block them out and don't pay attention.

Ha-- I'm so glad I'm not alone! I started madly wanted Taco Bell when I saw commercials for it and I normally HATE Taco Bell.

My husband was amused.

And, yes, Netflix was a good way to go. I would say books, but the people in my books keep having feasts and then I get mad at them, too :-)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
