  3. I'm almost 4 weeks out and I'm cold all the time. This is a welcomed side effect though because before surgery I was always hot and sweaty.
  4. I stayed out 3 weeks.
  5. What are they going to do to treat it?
  6. I've had success with chili beans, cottage cheese, olives, cherry tomatoes, pears and peaches. I have not tolerated steak or chicken well at all.

  9. I wouldn't have bought so much isopure because I can't stomach it. I really wouldn't buy a ton of stuff because what sounds good now might not later. I never used the 1 oz cups. Hated the 10.00 worth of bone broth I bought. I would buy a pack of sugar free popsicles.

  13. What kind of lettuce was it? Maybe try butter lettuce because it's softer. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  15. I don't have any experience, but I wish you the best. Praying this next surgery goes smoothly. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  16. I had reflux so my surgeon put it this way that I'd hate him for doing the sleeve and I'd be back for a revision to bypass. I had some damage to my esophagus already so the sleeve wouldn't have been a good option. He also said bypass has more research and better long term results. 19. It sounds like this is a common thing after surgery people hit stalls and they eventually break through. I just had my surgery 1/25 so I'm not there yet. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  21. Almost the same thing happened to me, but more harshly delivered. I had surgery last week and haven't spoken to her since before surgery and don't plan to speak to her again. I've decided to surround myself with positivity. The recovery isn't a walk in the park and the last thing you need is her and her negative thoughts. This is your year to focus on your health and making your quality of life better. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  22. You'll need to be out 6 weeks with the amount of weight you need to lift. I was told nothing over 10lbs for 6 weeks. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  23. I wouldn't buy a bunch of Protein shakes before surgery and I certainly wouldn't start now with substituting meals with them and I say that because I'm soooo sick of shakes! I'd get some flavorless protein to add to my drinks and food. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  24. I had bypass done on 1/25 and had a huge hiatal hernia. My surgery took longer than expected, but he said there was no way he could leave the hernia without repair. The hernia repair has been the most painful part of my recovery. The surgeon said I would be really sore and it would feel like I had broken ribs and he wasn't kidding. I was in extreme pain! I ended up with sub. emphysema and my face became so swollen and it crackled if you touched it. I am totally fine now and the surgery was a success. Message me if you have anymore questions.
