how long did you stay out of work.....

@@TanishaP

people take different time away from work/recuperation

a few days, 2 weeks, you are thinking about taking one month?? :o

a month seems like a long time, but.... if you have the time, go for it

better to "sign" up for lots of time off and go back sooner than later

as for me, i took NOOOO time off from work

i immediately went back to my retired status ;)

speedy recovery

good luck

kathy

I'm taking a month off as I do a lot of driving. But also the recovery is one side of the coin, the food/supplement is the other AND there is A LOT to learn and you also have no idea how your body will react to the foods afterwards. Take a a much as you can. You CAN always go back to work early.

I took 6 weeks. I had the time and my doctor suggested taking as much as possible.

I requested 6 weeks but went back after 4.5 weeks. The fatigue was bad plus I required iv fluids x 3 during that time. I do alot of lifting and pulling in my job. I had rny and hernia repair. A coworker had the sleeve and returned to work after a week.

Does anyone know if short term disability will cover this?

I am in the nursing field and my surgeon had me to stay off work for 6 weeks. Its not much you can do with 15lbs restriction. If you work at office you'll be fine, if not I say 4 to 6 weeks

I was sleeved on 9/6. I was back at work on 9/19. I was expecting to be wiped out in the evening but I have been feeling surprisingly good. ( I have a desk job)

O wow! MY JOB CONSIST OF ALOT OF MOVING PULLING AND STANDING....

Any physically active job like yours needs at least 4 weeks. I took 4 but recommend 5 or 6
