@@TanishaP I plan on staying out for 4-6 weeks. I have the time and my surgeon said the longer I can take the better.

I shopped the mall in four days. Felt great. No lifting, and you will get tired.

I stayed off work for one week, however I have an office job.

I'm having surgery tomorrow (9/22/16) and I'll work from home tomorrow and return to the office on week 2 -- at least that's the plan.

I was sleeved on 9/6. I was back at work on 9/19. I was expecting to be wiped out in the evening but I have been feeling surprisingly good. ( I have a desk job)

I have 3 weeks off and im a nursing sister in a busy ICU, ill be taking it lightly when i return but a month is usually better xx

Ditto what LuppyLulu said.........off and running after 4 days. I got tired easily but felt great.

I took off 6 weeks and finally returning back to work tomorrow.

I don't have a physically taxing job, so while I had a hernia operation three days after my rny, I was back to work two weeks after my surgery.

For my desk job, 13 days. Then half days for a week. We'll see how next week goes!

I'm having my surgery Monday and I'm planning on being back in the office no later then Wednesday of the following week. So a week and a half.
