Who wants to do a 5 day liquid diet with me for "fun"?! It will keep you from eating candy on Halloween! I promise I won't cheat! I feel like I've been eating too much "junk" lately and the liquid diet helps me kick that sugar craving. Last time I did 5 days of shakes I didn't want any sugar for weeks. We can do update pictures and it will make food planning super easy!!! My family are complete party poopers and won't do it with me. I did it by myself before so I'm sure I can do it again I just thought it might be fun to do it together.....as fun as self torture can be anyway. I'm going to get my shakes tomorrow and get this party started.

My husband has been asking me what I want to do on my birthday which is still 10 days away. Last year I was fresh from surgery so I had liquids. This year I think I'm going to play it safe and have a nice seafood dinner, no cake, no ice cream so I need to figure out a healthy type desert?!

5 days was hard enough!! But I think I will keep this "reset" in my back pocket for my next stall. The holidays are coming, so I imagine a reset will be in order at the end of the month for a couple months in a row.

Yeah, @@Elode, I'm thinking if you want to give this challenge another go, I think we should all do it in January after the holidays. I would be game for that one for sure! I feel I may need it this year....

@@Babbs Oh that sounds good! No, wait that's a lie. That does not sound good at all right now but I'm sure it will by then. I'm trying not to be this.....it came across my FB and made me laugh/cringe.

The 11th? That's my bday, too! Happy birthday!

I'm where you were at last year and I have no idea what to do. Bdays have always involved food for me.

This year for desert I saved my favorite protein bar until the end of the day. No baked goods for me. I just don't trust myself enough to eat off plan still. I did read a low carb recipe for pumpkin pie with no crust that sounded good though. There have been a few ideas for protein based desserts on here as well. Happy birthday yall!

Holy cow you're dedication puts me to shame! You're amazing!

@@Babbs I might feel better about my dedication if it wasn't driven by a fear of losing control. I'm getting nervous about how to do maintenance because I feel like I need to keep myself on a loose schedule of eating 4x a day. I do need to stop losing soon, but I don't really know how to do that while keeping to both my meal schedule and my carb limit.

@@sweetie716

I hear ya. This maintenence is tricky stuff. I've actually lost 6 pounds in October because I can't quite figure out the balance yet. I guess I'll just let my body decide.
